Psalm 1 - Meditation Prayer

A large tree with ripe apples growing on it, situated next to a flowing stream in a peaceful landscape during sunset. An open Bible and a scroll rest on a rock nearby, with a verse from Psalm 1:3 wishing happiness to those who delight in God's law.

Psalm 1 Meditation Prayer

Like a tree planted by a stream, let me be a faithful servant who hopes only for the Lord.

Oh, God the Father with infinite love and grace,

Today, I give thanks and praise to the word of the holy Lord. In the noise of the world and the busyness of complicated daily life, let all human thoughts and letting go pass for a while, and let us bow down in front of the Lord's dignity and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, so how can we repay this grace?

In this holy time, I shine my soul in front of the words of Psalm 1. Please open the door of heaven and grant me a spiritual idea to realize what the 'true blessing' that the Lord himself says is. It is not a vain and rotten blessing that the world pursues, but let us walk the path of a blessed life that God recognizes and pleases.

Lord, thank you for clearly showing the life of a blessed person through Psalm 1.

Blessed people do not follow the plots of the wicked, do not stand in the way of sinners, and do not sit in the place of the arrogant. However, even though I live in the holy name of Lord and Pastor, I can't look up in shame when I look back at myself. I don't know how often I tried to compromise with the world's standards in the field of ministry and in every corner of my life. I confess with tears that there were moments when I was more aware of people's reputation than God's gaze, and that I relied on human means and tricks rather than the power of the Holy Spirit.

I followed comfort with the lips that should proclaim the true truth, and I repent of the sins that were deceived by the ministry achievements or recognition in front of me rather than the narrow path of the cross. I put down all the hearts of pride, self-centered greed, and secret compromise that are deeply rooted in me before the cross, O Lord, have mercy on this servant. Please cleanse my heart with the blood of Jesus, and give me a pure heart that fears only the Lord with repentance.

Father God, the tricks of the wicked always come in a sweet and sophisticated way.

The way of sin seems so comfortable and wide at first, and the place of the arrogant is disguised with the glory of the envy of the people. But the Lord warned that the end of the road is like bree blown by the wind, and that it is nothing more than eternal destruction. Don't let me be distracted by the image of immediate benefits, momentary satisfaction, and external growth of the ministry. Let me look at today from the perspective of the eternal kingdom of God, and give me the holy spiritual discernment that is not unjuscrimably swept away by the flow of the world. Please keep me wary of even small compromises that take sins lightly, and God of the Holy Spirit sensitively controls my conscience and thoughts so that I can always give me the wisdom and courage to choose only the good will of the Lord.

Lord, blessed people are only those who rejoice in the law of the Lord and meditate on his law day and night.

God, I sincerely hope that the journey of my life and ministry will be filled with the joy of this word. Don't let the time to study the Bible and prepare for sermons stop at the habit of just being a preacher or falling into mannerism. Please make it a time of emotion to meet the living God personally every time you speak, and let me feel the breath of the Lord beyond the text.

May the word of the Lord be a sharp sword that operates on my soul, a be a belovely rebuke that rebukes my faults, and be the comfort of heaven that arouses my discouraged heart. Please forgive me for my unbelief that put my experience or knowledge before prayer and word in my busy ministry and daily life. Let me unfold the word of the Lord first at every crossroads of choice, every moment when the anguish of ministry comes, and let the truth of God rule over my judgment and feelings. The word is not just the knowledge in my head, but my life and pastoral scene become blood and flesh and let me live and breathe with vitality.

The psalmist declared a blessed person 'a tree planted by the stream'.

Father God, I want my life and the life of the saints who have entrusted me to be like a tree deeply rooted in the stream. Please grant me a deep-rooted faith that will not be shaken even if a storm blows in the season of life and a drought of trials that is difficult to handle comes. Even if the visible environment is dry and dry, let me look with the eyes of faith that the invisible stream of grace continues to supply the water of life in the depths of my soul.

Lord, sometimes there is a time when we pass the season of waiting in the field of ministry. Even if you pray with tears and sow seeds, the response seems to be slow, and there are times when you pass through a long tunnel of darkness that seems to bear no fruit. However, I believe that God will bear the best fruit in the most perfect time, just as the tree by the stream bears fruit over time. Don't let us get ahead of God's will with hasty, don't be discouraged or proud of comparing with others, and let us endure every day faithfully by trusting the Lord's supply.

God, I earnestly pray that my life will be enriched with the holy spiritual fruit that the Lord wants.

May the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit bear beautifully in my ministry and personality. Let the tears of the Lord towards the lost soul be my love, and let the joy and peace of heaven that transcend the situation dominate my heart. Take care of the weakness of the saints and let them endure for a long time, take care of the flock entrusted with mercy and good, and only let them be loyal to the Lord and guard themselves with meekness and restraint. Let the humility and character of Jesus Christ flow naturally from my words, small eyes and actions. So let everyone who meets me have the grace to experience the personality and love of God who lives through me.

Father God, he said that the wicked are like bran blown by the wind.

The world says that the splendor of appearance, numerical growth, power and wealth are success, but don't forget that a life without the Lord is nothing more than a futile waste that will eventually be blown away by the wind. Let the honor of the world, the recognition of the saints, and the scale of the visible ministry do not become the purpose of my life and ministry, but only let me run looking at the eternal kingdom of God and His righteousness. Please don't consume my noble soul and time for the value of the rotten world, and let me be willing to offer my life as a holy living sacrifice for the eternal value of heaven.

"The Lord acknowledges the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish."

Lord, these words give my soul boldness and great comfort as I walk the lonely path of ministry. Sometimes I feel lonely and tired because I feel lonely on this road alone, but the fact that the Lord already knows all my steps, tears, and sighs in the alcove is enough, and that he personally recognizes that path.

Whenever I tilt or fall to the left or right, hold me with the right hand of power, and whenever I go to the test or shake, please stand again on the rock of the word. I want my life's life and ministry to be a glory only to the Lord. The Lord is the only blessing in my life, my hope, and eternal life.

I will move forward to the throne of the Lord's grace today. I earnestly pray in the holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ who has become my true shepherd.

Amen!
