Almighty and Merciful Heavenly Father,

You are the Lord and Sovereign of all creation. You rule over the heavens and the earth, and nothing is beyond Your power.

Today, we come before You with humble and earnest hearts, lifting up to You all those who are suffering because of the earthquake.

Those who have been wounded physically, those who have lost their homes and possessions, those whose communities and environments have been devastated, and those who are facing
severe economic hardship.

Lord, You know the fear and terror that filled their hearts when the earth suddenly shook and everything they knew seemed to collapse in an instant.

You know those whose homes have been destroyed, those who have lost loved ones, those who are still searching desperately for family members, and those who have suddenly lost their livelihoods and everything they depended upon.

Father, please have mercy upon them.

Wipe away the tears of those who have lost someone they love. Comfort those who are waiting anxiously for news about their families. And for those who are trapped beneath the rubble,
please extend Your mighty and miraculous hand of protection.

Where human eyes cannot see a way, please open a way.

Guide the hands of rescuers, direct them to those who are still alive, and let miracles of rescue and preservation of life continue to take place.

Almighty God, shine Your light into the darkness.

Let the sound of life be heard from beneath the rubble. Give hope to those who feel that everything has come to an end.

We earnestly ask You to accomplish, through Your miraculous power, what human strength alone cannot accomplish.

Lord, please heal everyone who has been physically injured.

Touch those suffering from broken bones, wounds, bleeding, pain, and other injuries. Provide immediate medical care for those who need it. Supply enough doctors, nurses, medicine, medical equipment, hospital beds, and every necessary resource. Strengthen the medical teams with wisdom, endurance, compassion, and courage. Help them never give up on a life that can still be saved.
Protect children, the elderly, people with disabilities, pregnant women, and everyone who requires special care. Surround them with Your protection and mercy.

Loving Father,

Please remember those who have been deeply wounded emotionally by this disaster. Some cannot sleep because of the sound and terror of the earthquake. Some tremble whenever they feel even the slightest movement. Some are grieving the loss of loved ones and do not know how they will continue living without them.

Lord, You know the fear and grief that words cannot express. Please touch their broken hearts. Replace fear with peace. Replace despair with hope. And give them strength to face one day at a time.

Heavenly Father,

Please have special mercy upon those who have lost their homes, workplaces, businesses, farms, shops, and sources of income. In a single moment, many have lost the foundation of their lives
and are now asking,

“How will I live from this point forward?”

Lord, please provide safe shelter for everyone who has nowhere to stay.

Provide food, clean water, clothing, medicine, and every necessary daily provision. Remember families who are facing serious financial difficulties. Their income may have stopped, while living expenses, medical bills, housing costs, and other needs continue.

Lord, open new doors for them. Give those who have lost their jobs new opportunities to work. Give business owners opportunities to rebuild. Give farmers who have lost their crops and livestock
the strength and resources to begin again. Provide ways for those burdened by debt and financial hardship
to recover and rebuild their lives. Send help through governments, organizations, communities, churches, neighbors, and compassionate people. May no one who truly needs help be forgotten.

Lord,

Please restore the environment and infrastructure of the affected communities. Restore damaged roads, bridges, electricity, water systems, communication networks, hospitals, schools, and public facilities. Let safe living conditions be restored as quickly as possible. Protect the people from secondary disasters such as additional collapses, fires, landslides, floods, and other dangers. Give wisdom to those assessing dangerous areas, and guide people away from places where their lives may still be at risk.

Father, please protect everyone working on the front lines of rescue and recovery.

Protect firefighters, police officers, soldiers, emergency responders, medical workers, engineers, volunteers, and everyone serving those who are suffering. Give them strength when they are exhausted. Give them wisdom when decisions are difficult. Protect their lives as they risk themselves to save others.

May their hands become instruments of Your mercy, and may many lives be rescued through their efforts.

Loving God,

Through this tragedy, help people become a source of hope for one another. Do not allow us to turn away from those who are suffering. Teach us to share what we have. Break down the barriers of nationality, region, age, language, and differences of opinion, and unite us in compassion and love.

May aid reach the places where it is truly needed. Protect vulnerable people from fraud, exploitation, dishonesty, and corruption.
Let every relief and recovery effort be carried out with integrity, justice, and transparency. May those in greatest need receive help first.

Almighty Father,

Even where everything appears to have ended, we believe that You can prepare a new beginning. Build new homes upon the places where homes have fallen. Build new hope upon lives that have been broken. Do not allow those who have lost everything to remain in despair for the rest of their lives. Turn today’s tears into tears of healing, restoration, and gratitude. Give those who have lost their homes the courage to build again. Give broken families strength to continue. Bring food back to empty tables. Bring laughter back into homes. And open a new path for lives that seem to have come to a standstill.

Father God,

We place before You every problem that is beyond our human ability to solve. For those who need physical healing, give them healing and restoration. For those who need emotional healing,
give them comfort and peace. For families that need restoration, bring love, reconciliation, and unity. For those facing financial hardship, provide opportunities to work and the resources they need.

Restore homes. Restore livelihoods. Restore communities. Restore hope. And make the affected areas safer and stronger than before.

Lord,

Especially comfort those who have lost beloved family members. There are wounds that no human words can heal. So please draw especially near to those who are grieving. Hold them close in Your loving arms. Give them strength to continue living even while carrying deep sorrow. If there is someone who feels that life has lost all meaning, please surround that person with Your presence and send trustworthy people to walk beside them.

Heavenly Father,

Speak to every person who is beginning another day with tears in their eyes:

“You are not alone.”
“I am holding you.”
“Today’s suffering is not the final chapter of your life.”
“I will walk with you through this.”

Let these words become deeply rooted in their hearts. Even when they cannot see anything ahead, give them the courage to hope for tomorrow. Even when they have strength for only one small step,
give them grace to take that step. Guide their paths. Send the right people into their lives. Provide what they need. Open the doors that need to be opened.

Almighty God,

We believe that You are greater than the power of the earth. You are the One who rebuilds what has been destroyed. You are the One who heals broken hearts. You are the One who can bring new life and hope even in the midst of death and despair. Therefore, we cry out to You:

Bring the miracle of life where people are dying.
Bring the miracle of hope where there is despair.
Bring the miracle of healing where there is pain.
Bring the miracle of restoration where there is destruction.
Bring the miracle of provision where there is poverty and need.
Bring the miracle of peace where there is fear.

Lord, please hold their hands.

Give them strength to rise again.
Give them opportunities to work again.
Give them days when they can smile again.
Give families the joy of sitting together around a table again. And one day, when they look back upon these painful days, may they be able to say:

“We thought we had lost everything,
but God never abandoned us.
God held us, carried us,
and raised us up again.”

Heavenly Father,
You are the Lord of all creation, the Almighty God, and our refuge and strength.

We place every person affected by this earthquake into Your merciful hands. Protect their lives. Heal their wounds. Comfort their hearts. Protect their families. Provide for their financial needs. Restore their homes, communities, and environment. And let peace return to this land.

Where there has been destruction, let new hope rise. Where there have been tears, let there eventually be joy. Where there has been darkness, let Your light shine. Where there seems to be no way,
please make a way. We believe that You hear our prayers and that You are able to bring miraculous healing, restoration, protection, and provision to those who are suffering. We entrust everything into Your mighty and loving hands.
